He leads the Max Planck Research Partner Group for the Study of the Economy and the Public project, an international collaboration between UCEN and the Max Planck Institute in Cologne. His research has focused on the financialization of households in Chile and the politicization of credit (Fondecyt Nº 3160096), the study of the politics of economic expectations in the public sphere (Fondecyt Nº 11180273), as well as the relationship between democracy and social networks. He is currently researching the relationship between consumption, social class and credit.
