Associate Professor , Department of Economics, Government and Communications, Universidad Central de Chile. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Chile, he completed a Master’s degree at Texas A&M University in 2007 and a PhD at the University of Kent in the UK in 2012. He conducts mainly quantitative research and his area of interest is consumer behavior with respect to food choices and their consequences on health and the environment. She leads a project analyzing fruit and vegetable consumption among university students, funded by the Universidad Central de Chile (CIP2019017, 2019-21). He is also the principal investigator of a project whose objective is to analyze and propose measures to prevent food waste in households in Santiago, funded by the National Agency for Research and Development (FONDECYT de Iniciación 11201115, 2020-23).
