Discussing the effect of international trade on domestic food consumption will be one of the focuses of the session to be presented by researcher Andrés Silva at the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA) Annual Meeting in Washington DC. The annual conference, to be held in July, brings together close to 1,000 attendees, including academics and graduate students. Faculty from Harper Adams University in the United Kingdom, Texas A&M University, Rabobank and the Economic Research Service of the US Department of Agriculture in the United States will also participate.
